Top 5 Restaurants in NYC

The only thing I love more than food is New York. Combine these two things and you get a list of amazing (and not too pricy!) restaurants in the most beautfiul city in the world. Enjoy!

Pazza Notte (6th & 56th)

Pazza Notte is an Italian restaurant in Midtown Manhattan. The staff is always friendly and you can tell that the food is made with love. From the moment I set foot into the restaurant it was clear that this is not just a business for them, it’s their passion.

My personal favorite:

Lobster Risotto with Diced Lobster, White Wine, Shallots, Green Peas & Fresh Herbs

AOA Bar & Grill (7th & Canal St)

AOA Bar & Grill is an American restaurant located in Tribeca. They are serving a delicious menu filled with fresh food made with ingredients from local sustainable farms. The owner is very polite, the staff really goes above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable and every time I visited this place I was warmheartedly welcomed.

My personal favorite:

Mac & Cheese served in a pan with truffle. Likely the best Mac & Cheese I ever had so far.

Al’s Delicatessen & Catering (7th & 35th)

Al’s Delicatessen & Catering is a restaurant located right across the street from Macy’s. I discovered it after a long day of shopping when I was craving a good, juicy Philly Cheesesteak.

My personal favorite:

Combine with Hawaiian Punch and a slice of Red Velvet cake and you have the perfect guilty pleasure.

Five Guys (8th & 42nd)

In case you don’t know what Five Guys is, it’s a burger restaurant originally from Virginia. It is my favorite burger in the entire world.
Why are they so great?

  • They only use fresh ground beef.
  • They only use peanut oil.
  • There are no freezers in Five Guys locations, just coolers.

My personal favorite:

With lettuce, pickles, tomatoes and ketchup.

I always combine it with either a softdrink or a peanut butter milkshake and some fries.
Pro tip: Should you order fries, order the small portion. They always throw more fries in your bag than you order.

The Loeb Boathouse

The Loeb Boathouse is a café/restaurant located at the lake in Central Park. You can either have brunch, lunch, dinner or just have a coffee and a brownie. The view is amazing and you can sit outdoors if the weather is good.

My personal favorite:

Just go to their Express Café and get a coffee and a brownie. Then enjoy the view or rent a boat.
